Antony Batty & Company Employee Focus: Sheniz Bayram

31st March 2022

Sheniz joined us in 2005 and is one of our Insolvency Managers at our London Office.

This month we are shining the spotlight on one of our Insolvency Managers, Sheniz Bayram, who is based at our London office, Sheniz works closely alongside our Licensed Insolvency Practitioners and runs a team of Insolvency administrators. We asked Sheniz to answer some questions, including what got her into the Insolvency profession, what she especially enjoys about Insolvency, and of course we also asked her what she enjoys in her spare time away from Insolvency.

  1. What do you enjoy about insolvency? What got you into the profession?

“I am very much a people person and get great job satisfaction assisting and advising creditors and building a relationship with all involved in the insolvency process, from the directors to the employees, and from the large, secured creditors to the consumers.

I am always mindful that although the insolvency process is something we deal with every day, it can be a very stressful and worrying time for our clients, so I try to make it as seamless process as possible.

I love how insolvency is varied day-to-day. One day you could be handling HR matters and the next day you may be part of closing a large sale agreement.”

  1. Past career and experience?

“I started my career as an Office Junior at Begbies Traynor, where I stayed in that role for just under a year. I then worked at the same firm as a Cashier for another 3 years. After this, I moved to a smaller boutique firm as Junior Administrator.

I started my career at Antony Batty in 2005 as a Junior Administrator. Since then, and through years of hard work and experience, I have progressed from a junior administrator to a senior manager running a team which deals in all types of Insolvency including CVLs, MVLs, WUC, CVAs, etc. I now specialise in Administrations, including trading Administrations. “

  1. Client’s direct feedback on Sheniz

Sheniz’s clients really value her help. Here is what one of her clients had to say in a  recent Google review.

“I worked with Antony Batty and Sheniz during the most difficult moment of my business life – they were the most professional, helpful and effective anyone could possibly wish for and I could not possibly recommend them highly enough. The best partner for a crisis.”

  1. Interesting fact about yourself, hobbies, interests?

“I was part of a tap and jazz dancing group from the age of 11 to 23.

More recently, I found a passion for interior design since I started renovation of my family home in 2018 and I am now completing an interior design course in my spare time. I am interested in fashion and travel.”
