Efficient and Professional Members Voluntary Liquidation of Graham Energy Solutions

On 10th January 2010, the final meeting was held for the Members Voluntary Liquidation and winding up of Graham Energy Solutions, which has been led by Licensed Insolvency Practitioner Hugh Jesseman at our Central London Office. We were appointed as the liquidator in March 2019, and the final cash distribution to the directors was c.£245,000.

The client was delighted with the outcome

“I was recommended to approach Antony Batty and Company by my Accountant when looking to wind up my company. This was excellent advice, as ABc turned out to be highly professional and delivered a result way beyond my expectations.

During what looked to me to be a challenging process they did all the heavy lifting, kept things simple and involved me as much or as little as required. They were a pleasure to work with

An excellent job efficiently delivered. I’ll be sure to recommend you to others in a similar situation.”

The details of this Members’ Voluntary Liquidation

Graham Energy Solutions provided consultancy services to the energy sector. The decision of the directors to liquidate was simply that the company’s main contract had come to an end and they judged that the company had come to the end of its useful life.

The liquidation process took 10 months and realised a total cash distribution to the directors of £245,245, paid in two tranches: the first of £199,900 and the second of £45,345. The client also qualified for entrepreneurs’ relief.

The liquidation progressed smoothly, with the only difficulty being an overseas debtor that owed c.£40,000, who eventually paid.
