K&W Recovery (Trading as Antony Batty & Co. Thames Valley) has enjoyed a busy first year.
On 1st June 2021, KWR opened its office doors for the first time at its Oxfordshire office. Led by Licensed Insolvency Practitioners Lawrence King and Matt Waghorn, as part of a joint venture with Antony Batty of Antony Batty & Company, the aim in the first year was to set a strong base for future growth, and as Lawrence put it at the time, to “put both staff and client service first.” The first year has passed quickly and successfully, and here Lawrence and Matt take a quick look back with their eyes firmly fixed on the future.
Lawrence King comments:
“Purchasing Critchleys’ Business Recovery and Insolvency Practice as a going concern, including all my existing appointments with Critchleys and all of the Team coming with me to our new offices in Milton Park, Abingdon, meant we were up and running and fully operational straight away.
We have been busy from the word go with plenty of appointments across all the key areas of insolvency. In addition, our expertise in other areas, including Insolvency Mediation and our detailed investigatory work with Law firms has stood us in good stead.”
Matt Waghorn continues:
“Setting up KWR together had been a long time in the making, having known each other for too many years to remember. It is something we are both glad we decided to pursue. You are only as good as your team, of course, and we are lucky to have a great one.
In our first year, we have already recruited two new team members and are in the process of recruiting more, which shows the positive start we have made. We are looking forward to the next 12 months, and beyond, as we continue to grow and deliver excellent service and results.”
