David’s route into insolvency started when his first job, after two years of service, went into Receivership in late 1990. A few days later he was offered a job by the firm dealing with the Receivership in their London office, so he truly has been on both sides of the insolvency table.
David has over 35 years in the finance/insolvency industry working across single partner, mid-tier and big 4 accountancy and finance firms throughout London and the South East. As well as being a part qualified accountant, David has developed a wide range of skills and knowledge along the way. He has been responsible for managing a portfolio of up to 90 clients at any one time, so can safely say that his time management skills are up to par.
David’s Responsibilities at Antony Batty & Co

As a Senior Insolvency Manager, David is responsible for assisting the case managers to ensure that clients’ affairs are managed and progressed throughout from appointment to closure, and anything in between, in the most efficient way possible. Outside of Work
David is a keen tennis player and is a registered player with the Lawn Tennis Association and represents his club in two leagues across Kent. David also enjoys walking (an 8-10 miles walk in the countryside is not uncommon). David also enjoys getting down with Nature, often being commended in his home town’s annual “in bloom competition”.
David gets his news-fix from three sources: Breakfast News, the BBC website and the 10’clock News. When he gets some time to himself, he sits down with a copy of the Sunday Times.
David’s favourite holiday destination is a recent one in Lake Garda and the surroundings, where he fell in love with the whole experience. Who wouldn’t?
